What is an institution?
An institution is an organisation which is founded for a professional purpose.What channels does my target audience listen to?
In this images below you can see I have questioned half a dozen people aged 17-18. I asked them a number a questions,- What two radio channels do you listen to?
- Which genres are played?
- Which artist/band do you like?
The general answers was Capital and Radio one, R&B, Pop and Little Mix
What Institutions own these channels?
The BBC owns Radio one. They are a British operated broadcasting corporation which broadcast internationally. They play the current charts throughout the day however after 7:00 pm they play different genres such as R&B, Indie, Rock ect.
Global Radio own the UK rights of Capital, Commnicorp own the rest of the world rights. Capital is apart of a network of 12 independent contemporary hit radio stations in the UK.
What channels play Little Mix's music?
